Discover the Guttau Ponds on a beautiful circular route that lets you enjoy nature with your eyes and ears.

It will be exciting – forget the noise of the big cities! Here you can see, hear, smell, and feel nature. Let yourself be fascinated by the swaying reeds, the sparkling water surface, or the cloudy white fog banks. Admire the carpets of wood anemones in spring, hear the calls of the fire-bellied toad choirs and the concerts of whole frog orchestras. Experience the chatter of hundreds of wild geese in autumn or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the pond landscape with its huge gnarled oaks!

Directions

The route leads from Wartha through farmland and swamp forest to the Guttau Pond Group at Guttau. From there, it continues along the clay pit to the Wartha Meadows. Here you keep slightly to the left to the Brösa Pond, where the observation tower invites you to watch animals. Finally, you return to the path back to the HOUSE OF A THOUSAND PONDS, where the route ends.

A visit to the information center HOUSE OF A THOUSAND PONDS is recommended and rounds off the eventful excursion.
